This is the first shot in the film it is blurry as a man is walking past window which have blinds creating suspense for the audience to find out who this man is and what he is doing.
This is an mid shot of the unknown man in action kicking in a door.
The man is now hiding under a table frantically written something down. Which the words appear on the screen.
This is a close up of the man under the table looking around looking very scared and nervous.
A light beam comes from beyond the glass from what looks like a security guard.
This shot is an extreme close up of what the man is writing down you can see the writing and that it is slanted and slight messiness showing his rush.
The close up becomes centred on these three words 'to save her' creating suspense for the audience as known knows what he means by this at this point in the film.
The close up of these words then beginning to crack and faded in to the title of the film.
Even when the title appears it is faded in with butterfly's.
Which the butterfly's then turn into a brain showing that this is a psychological thriller.
Throughout the film the man (Evan) has flash backs to times in his childhood where you see events he cannot remember until he looks through his diaries he can unlock the past and go back to them times. But unknowing that changing the past could effect the present.
